Frith Kerr is the master typographer who turned Ian Dury's 'Bus Driver's Prayer', a parody of the Lord's Prayer, into an iconic design poster. The work of AnOther magazine creative director David James (formerly Out of Print and soon to be dja.dj)] is equally intriguing. Font design and layout provide a great opportunity to be inventive and push the boundaries of graphic design though are often nothing more than dull and predictable.
