Barbara Rae prints and paintings stood out at this years Royal Academy Summer Show. Her approach to colour and mark is so individual. I particularly like how her landscapes feature layers of colour, ranging from neons pinks and greens to muddy browns and greys, lightly painted on top of one with the layer beneath still visible.
