I'm currently working on a brief set by the RCA and National Trust to create a product inspired by a visit to Waddesdon Manor, the winning designs will be sold in the house's shop. I have decided to create birch trays and am working with the producer Ary Trays. I've been doing lots of drawings based on the amazing wallpapers in the house, working with a variety of media and colours to create an energetic collage effect. Still got lots to do before the panel presentation at the end of January. Above are some examples of last years successful designs; 'Coasters' by Victoria Delany, Alei Verspoor's 'Colours of Waddesdon' and "Robin Tote Bag' by Ying Wu.
