I'm planning a trip to Paris to see the Pompidou Centre's Matisse exhibition 'Paires et Series' which opened today. The exhibition looks at Matisse's exploration into drawing and painting; drawing attention to repeated forms which appear in numerous pieces as he works to perfect his techniques.
