Another book I'm saving for is 'Fashion Designers Sketchbooks'. It documents how designers develop their concept boards into collections and includes pages on Galliano, Dries Van Noten, Eley Kishimoto and Kenzo. It's always interesting to see artists and designers sketchbooks; you really appreciate the final outcome when you can see all the work thats gone into making it. The book reminded me of some Charlotte Linton sketchbook pages I'd seen on her blog; the breadth of references, ranging from tribal costume to sealife, are echoed in the diverse collections.
