Erdem's latest collection, shown today at London Fashion Week, shows his strong handwriting with a greater air of sophistication. His colour combinations and proportions are softer than normal but retain their impact and the pieces are simultaneously provocative and conservative; sheer embellished dresses with low back and nearly invisible straps are shown alongside white polka dot shirts buttoned to the top and tucked into sheer skirts.
