I have a large collection of images of artists and designers either at work or surrounded by their works; these are some of my favourites. Although my board of inspirational images is constantly evolving these 3 images are permanent; I think they provide an amazing insight into how individuals choose to work. Whilst Matisse is pictured drawing from his bed in a hotel in Nice, surrounded by his collection of textiles, Maija Isola, designer at Marimekko, is captured kneeling on the floor drawing from a model horse and vase of flowers.
