Reminiscent of Matisse's experiments with textiles and colour; Dominic Hills paintings are a contemporary investigation into opulence and decoration. Layer upon layer of dynamic print and colour surround models, many of whom it is hard to spot as they hide amongst oversized patterns and energetic brush marks.
