I have recently discovered the work of Japan based artist Mogu Takahashi. Mogu has a collection of daily doodles which she creates in a conventional diary using a variety of media. The doodles capture everything from the contents of her lunchbox to drawings of people, nature and patterns. I love her energetic use of colour and mark and the naive imperfections in her studies. Takahashi has made a beautiful film which captures her flicking through a an entire book of doodles; click here to watch the video.
