Marni's Pre-Fall 2014 collection has me longing for next winter before this one's even over. Consuelo's winning combination of beautiful prints, decadent fabrics, playful jewellery and idiosyncratic styling never ceases to amaze me. These are some of my favourite looks; click here to view the entire collection.

I am part of a collective called Their Shop. Their Shop is a group of skilled creatives who are passionate about what they do. We have recently launched our shop selling products ranging from original drawings and paper prints to jewellery made from precious metals and one of a kind kimonos. Marni's latest Spring Summer collection embodies everything the brand stands for; elegant but playful prints and elaborate embellishment are applied to contrasting materials and unconventional garment shapes. Florals appear in multiple guises; flat oriental like drawings were seen on kimono shapes, three dimensional appliqued petals applied to bomber style jackets and small ditsy patterns printed onto striped backgrounds. Juxtaposing the highly embellished, colourful surfaces there were sophisticated, comparatively quiet, experiments into fabric and decoration as off white outfits explored engineered adornment. As with all Marni collections the accessories are not to be overlooked; black and white grid pattern bags decorated with oversized jewels, striped kit belts and dramatic jewellery emphasise Consuelo Castiglioni's intentions.

The American Museum outside Bath was the location for Fran Regan Jewellery's most recent photoshoot. The beautiful gardens and the worn stone surfaces provided the perfect backdrop for her silver and gold pieces. I particularly like how the yellow-gold patches in the stone compliment the vermeil finished small cosmic earrings and egg shaped bangles.
